One of the UK’s largest house builders is recruiting within their South Midlands region located in Northamptonshire. The person they appoint will join as a Contract Architectural Technician or Technologist on a full time, fixed 12 month contract basis.

The person they appoint will provide support across all areas of the design, regulation and planning process, working closely with colleagues and third parties to ensure developments are delivered.

You will be responsible for:
Providing architectural support to a number of different developments.
Producing and amend site layouts.
Gaining building regulation approvals for allocated developments.
Assisting with planning applications Delivering and co-ordinating working drawings.
Preparing specifications.
Collating and organising technical information.
Support provision of technical information for site starts.
The investigation of technical problems encountered and provision of viable economical solutions.
Attending site meetings as required.
Complying with responsibilities as defined in the Group’s Health, Safety & Environment Policy and ensure compliance with the same throughout the team.
Implementing new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.

The position would suit an architectural professional who can demonstrate experience of working within residential development, preferably direct for another house builder. The position offers hybrid working arrangements including up to two days a week remote, ideally the person they appoint will be available to start immediately.

In return, this position is offering a competitive salary up to £45,000 p.a. plus car allowance (negotiable dependent on individual experience).
