Overview
Join a fast-paced, commercially focused team responsible for identifying and securing prime locations for new developments. This role is vital to our success, balancing the need for competitive land acquisition with imaginative exploration of strategic opportunities — including land without current planning permission.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Identification: Source new development sites through local plans, housing audits, change-of-use opportunities, agent networks, and personal contacts.
Site Acquisition: Conduct due diligence, negotiate terms, formulate offers, manage legal processes, and secure internal approvals.
Land Promotion: Oversee promotion of strategic land bank, coordinate external consultants, and work cross-functionally with technical and sales teams.
Portfolio Monitoring: Track planning policy changes to identify risks and opportunities across the strategic land portfolio.
Planning & Engagement: Assist with planning applications and appeals, maintain communication with landowners and agents, and lead community engagement as needed.
Viability & Valuation: Manage viability assessments and agree land values with stakeholders.
Governance & Values: Promote and comply with Group policies, procedures, and values.
What We’re Looking For
Entrepreneurial thinker with excellent risk assessment and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of planning and land promotion processes.
