Based just outside Birmingham, this established housing developer is recruiting for a Senior Technical Coordinator on a full-time, permanent basis.

The key purpose of this role is to lead the coordination of technical design, construction details, and compliance requirements, ensuring projects achieve a smooth and successful start on site. The Senior Technical Coordinator will take ownership of design and technical information, managing consultants and stakeholders from site inception through to completion.

Working with the wider team, you will be expected to:

• Drive innovative, practical, and cost-effective technical solutions
• Lead the review of technical information, identifying buildability, coordination, or compliance risks
• Proactively liaise with external consultants to resolve technical challenges
• Attend site visits to ensure construction aligns with approved technical and planning drawings
• Support site teams with technical queries and requests for information
• Contribute to programme management and technical delivery milestones

Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have prior experience within a technical or design coordination function in residential development, ideally with a housebuilder or residential developer. Experience operating at a senior or lead level will be highly advantageous.
