The Role

This opportunity has arisen following the acquisition of a number of significant strategic land interests and the company's continued commitment to expanding its strategic land portfolio across the North of England. Based in Leeds and reporting directly to the Strategic Land Director, you will work closely with fellow Strategic Land and Planning professionals, taking a leading role in the promotion and progression of both existing and newly acquired strategic land projects.

The position offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of sites across Yorkshire, the North East, North West and the Midlands, providing the opportunity to influence major residential-led developments from acquisition through to planning consent and disposal.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble, appoint and manage multi-disciplinary consultant teams to drive projects forward effectively.
Lead the promotion of strategic land sites through the local plan and development plan process, securing site allocations and supporting planning policies.
Manage the preparation, submission and determination of planning applications and appeals to secure planning permissions and maximise land value.
Support the identification, appraisal and acquisition of new strategic land opportunities across the region.
Monitor and report on project performance, including programme, budgets, expenditure, planning risk, likelihood of success and key milestones.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local authorities, consultants and other key stakeholders to support project objectives.
