Architectural Designer / Technical Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing residential developer delivering high-quality housing schemes ranging from bespoke luxury homes to developments of over 100 units.
This is a unique role offering exposure to both architectural design and technical management, with all architectural services delivered in-house. You'll be involved throughout the development lifecycle, from land acquisition and feasibility through planning, technical delivery and project completion, providing an excellent platform to broaden your skills across architecture and development.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and develop feasibility layouts, house types and standard details.
Prepare and manage planning and Building Control applications.
Coordinate and review information from consultants, manufacturers and subcontractors.
Manage design programmes, drawing registers and technical documentation.
Oversee CDM responsibilities during the design phase.
Review utilities strategies and coordinate service quotations and connections.
Respond to site queries and technical requests.
Assist with tender information, specifications and product selections.
Support site appraisals and acquisition assessments.
Requirements
Architectural qualification or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum 5 years' experience delivering residential developments through RIBA Stages 3-5.
Proficient in CAD software; Archicad and/or 3D modelling experience advantageous.
Strong experience producing planning, Building Control and technical drawing packages.
Experience coordinating consultants and managing technical information.
Knowledge of residential development processes and stakeholder engagement.
Understanding of Section Agreements would be beneficial.
